I know I'd love to have jason at Oil Can Harry's here in Austin, maybe he'll consider it!

He is apparently going on a promotional speaking/club hosting tour that stretches wide across america and even into other countries. He's seeking advice on great bars to contact, and anyone interested in having him there. As planning for 2009 is underway, I am scheduling a little appearance/speaking tour. The cities I'm considering are listed below. Inside Del Shores and Jason Dottley's Marriage: Daughter Carrie Vlogs on Gay Marriage and Her Family

OMG! I cried. I can't imagine having grown up in a gay family, in a world (or a city) that is so open and understanding of homosexuality that I were as free and brave as Del Shores' daughter Carrie. 15 years old, she vlogged today (and it was added to Jason Dottley's youtube channel, posted to his myspace blog and facebook pages earlier) about Proposition 8 in California which is a bill that aims to repeal the May Supreme court ruling to allow gay marriage. According to Carrie's Vlog, Del Shores and Jason Dottley will be legally renewing their vows on Oct. 26, their 5 year wedding anniversary. In her Vlog, you can see pictures and the invitation to their ceremony on the beach.

We must pass this on as Carrie and her message is so inspiring. We also can't let California law revert because we need their progress in order to help propel the rest of us in this country into a more gay-understanding society.

I am starting a new section titled Google Gold and it's where I will be posting jewels I find on Google Image searches about Sordid Lives and the cast.

Here is a great picture of Jason Dottley and Caroline Rhea at the NNN Awards on Logo. Not only are they adorable together, they are quickly becomming breakouts for their new takes on Ty and Noleta. When Noleta brushed GW's hair with that hammer, I nearly peed myself. And I still can't watch Ty and Latrelle's phone call in episode five without tearing-up.

Jason Dottley and Ted Detwiler aren't the only two sex pots on Sordid Lives: The Series. There's an older gent who looks like his fun times are hanging loose in his Wranglers.

Newell Alexander played the role of Wardell from stage in 1996 to film, back to stage and now to TV. His acting credits are as long as his slong and he got a killer smile.

He banging Dr. Eve too. In real life. They are married and are the former in-laws to Del Shores before he came out!

What a surprise when some of the cast went on stage at the Castro Theater, here in San Francisco, and Jason Dottley stole the show by pulling his pants down in front of 1000 or so, mostly male audience at the premier of the new TV version of Sordid Lives. It was totally unexpected and you can tell, I nearly missed it.

I hope he doesn't regret it? And, I'm sure it won't hurt the ratings one bit. It's a very funny show and well worth watching.

Both literally and figuratively! There’s seriously nothing I hate more than overzealous religious a**holes trying to dictate to others how they should live their lives. Good for Sordid Lives star Jason Dottley and his soon to be hubby , the talented Queer as Folk producer and Sordid Lives writer and director Del Shores, for giving them a piece of their minds. They also get bonus mad props and a shout out for looking effin’ hot while doing it.

As an aside, you can totally tell that tubby dude on the right is kind of digging what he’s seeing, while the dude holding the sodomy sign is pining for the gay lover he pretends he doesn’t have.

Jdot & Del - good luck with the WORLD PREMIERE of Sordid Lives: The Series in New York City at New World Stages Tonight!!!! Which by the way begins airing on Logo July 23rd 2008.
